This is probably going to sound corny, but we really care about your solution and your business. ERP and Accounting systems (including CRM, EDI, etc.) are becoming more and more critical to your business. The reality is that the top 10 or 12 products on the market are pretty much the same. If you take into account that "bolt-on" products that are available, most are very, very similar.
But--unfortunately for businesses--this doesn't mean that a solution that works in one business will work in all businesses. It doesn't even mean that a system that works for a competitor will work for you. We've learned in over 50 years of combined experience with small and mid-sized businesses that every business is unique in some way. We've recommended and installed dozens of systems at Data Guidance Group, but even the systems that used identical software were different--because the businesses were different.
The process we use to help you select software is designed to assure that we know as much about your business as possible, and that you understand all the options open to you in software. We know the top 10 or 12 software packages (some better than others), but most of all we know their strengths and weaknesses. We know where they work and where they don't. We have detailed databases of features and product literature.
During our process of evaluation, we'll consider these plus other software packages. If we're intimately familiar with a package we believe will work, we'll tell you.
