NAV 5.0 New Feature of the Day

NAV 5.0 rumors...rumors only, mind you.

The jobs function of NAV will finally get some reworking. Better support for budgets. Support for fixed price jobs. Some other new stuff.

Actually in 5.0 job budgets have gone completely. Now we have Task Tracking, which looks like a cleaner way of doing it.

Bob Palmer:

As long as there's a way to compare an actual vs. some type of projection and control cost, I don't think it matters what we call it. I assume that this type of feature pretty much has to stay in any product we're going to call Jobs.
